What are the measurement from side to side. In other words the width needed between the frame rails or bolt holes from one side to the other. Thank you.

The distance between the mounting holes from side to side on the Draw Tite trailer hitch part # 41945 are 38-1/2 inches. This hitch fits the following vehicles:

2004 - 2014 Ford Van E-150
2004 - 2014 Ford Van E-250
2004 - 2014 Ford Van E-350
2000 - 2003 Ford Van Full Size, including Superwagon

Yes, a hitch from a 1999 Ford E-150 would also fit a 2001. For example, the Draw Tite part #41906 fits both years and would be a great option. You might still verify the part number of the hitch if you can find it.

I spoke with my contact at B and W and he informed me that the center section of the B and W Hitch part #BWHDRH25124 measures 31-13/16 inches long measured from outside of flange to outside of flange.

The distance is 13" from the center of the forward most bolt hole to the back of the cross section is 13". Please see the attached photo.

From the top of the mounting plates to the top of the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver #BWHDRH25124 receiver is a 5-1/4" drop and then from the rearmost bolt hole to the end of the receiver is 10-7/8" (see attached).
