Determining Center Line of Spindle When Installing Timbren Axle-Less System
Question:
Im installing a Timbren axle-less system under the trailer. Any tips on how to find the dead center of the spindle thus the wheel so I know where to install the spindle carrier? I realize that I need to measure from the tongue ball connection but there is a lot of trailer in the way for my strings. Any suggestions? I could not find any videos that had great ideas and/or procedures. Thanking you for your help if possible.

A good way for determining the correct axle placement and spindle centerline when installing a Timbren Axle-Less System like # ASR3500S06 is to attach a plumb bob to each spindle and at the coupler. This will give you a vertical reference line to use when measuring from the coupler and from each spindle, making sure you get that perfect triangle between the 3 components. You can also use a leveling laser the same way.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference. Starting at the 5:10 mark you can watch our installer better explain this process.
