Comparing Timbren Axle-Less Suspension Kits for Regular Tires vs. Off-Road Tires

Question:

What is the difference between the regular tire axle and the off road tire axle? I am currently running 215/14 regular tires. Thanks.

The 3500-lb Timbren axle-less suspension kits # ASR3500S06 (regular tires) and # ASR35HDS01 (off-road tires) differ in that the kit for wider off-road tires provides a 2-inch greater distance from the mounting point on the trailer frame to the hub face. This 8-inch distance versus the 6-inches for the regular tire kit means wider off-road tires will have the necessary clearance to avoid contacting the trailer frame.

The linked image for off-road kit # ASR35HDS01 shows the wider 8-inch hub face spacing.
