Will Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket Rust After Use
Question:
Ive had bad experiences with roof baskets. Lousy welding. Rust splatter everywhere. As soon as I fix one hole, another cracks. How do I know this wont happen ?

The Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115 you referenced does have an E-coated finish which is designed to protect it from corrosion. Additionally, this basket has a one-year warranty on its finish and a lifetime warranty in terms of defects. So while it does have a rust-resistant finish, should the basket become rusted you do have protection from the manufacturer.
