Does the Winch Remote Control Module Need to Be Mounted on Top of the Motor or Can Extension Work?
Question:
Can the remote control module be moved using 4ft battery terminal cables away from the winch motor and still operate the winch? Thank you

The Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 4,400 lbs # BDW15019 will allow you to use a thick enough gauge wire like you would find with battery cables to move the inch remote 4 feet away from the winch and still utilize the 20 foot lead and rocker switch on the remote control. If you want to use a wireless remote part # BDW20212 is available separately and would remove the need to change the transmitter control position.
You can use the Bulldog Winch Front Wiring Kit - Quick Connect to Terminal End - 3 Gauge - 7-1/2' Long # BDW20025 to make your connectors.
