Hidden Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Carrying Bikes with a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

I want to carry a bike rack with my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek but I would like a trailer hitch that is hidden so that the crosstube doesn't show. Do you have any like that? What would you recommend?

We do have some trailer hitches with that hidden crosstube look you are wanting for your 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. For a standard trailer hitch where the receiver is permanently in place I recommend the Curt # C13382 but if you are wanting a removable receiver then you will need to go with the premium EcoHitch # 306-X7365.

Both of these trailer hitches are great for carrying a bike rack. The only big difference is the removable receiver on the EcoHitch. I have attached pictures of both trailer hitches when they aren't in use so you can get an idea of what they look like.

If you don't already have a bike rack then I also recommend going with the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA22B because it combines a clean but classy look with easy-to-use features which give you a premium bike rack.

The NV 2.0 Base can carry up to 2 bikes weighing in at 60 lbs and secures them by the wheels which makes it compatible with any type of bike frame that does not have a front fender. Is will take tire sizes up to 4.8" wide and wheel sizes ranging from 25" - 29". Bike and rack locks are integrated along with the hand-tightening cam system that helps keep your bike from rattling in your trailer hitch.

Another great thing about this bike rack is that you can easily install add-ons in the future if you would like. The NV 2.0 Base can be transformed into a 4-bike bike rack with the add-on # BA02B.

I have attahced some installation videos of the trailer hitches as well as a review video for the bike rack that you can reference.
