The best 5th wheel trailer hitch for towing your brand new Grand Design 28BH 5th wheel trailer with your 2019 Ford F-250 w/pucks is the Demco Hijacker Autosliding 5th wheel hitch.

Not only does this hitch eliminate the need to get in and out of your cab to lock and unlock a manual sliding hitch but it also features a wraparound single-piece jaw, a 3/4" thick steel locking bar, and cushioning polyurethane dampers to give you the most secure and comfortable ride on the market. Another great thing about this 5th wheel hitch is that it has 15-1/2", 16-3/4", and 18-1/4" height settings to help you achieve the most level ride possible.

This trailer hitch comes in an 18K version # DM8550024 as well as a 21K version # DM8550038, is made in the USA, and comes with a 5-year limited warranty. The 18K would be more than enough for the 10,995 lb GVWR of your Grand Design but since you have a Heavy Duty pickup you may want to go with the 21K version if upgrading your 5th wheel trailer is something you would like to eventually do.

This whole unit is pretty hefty at about 300 lbs but we do have the 5th Wheel Lifting Bracket # DM6100 that you can use to help install and uninstall the Hijacker. If you choose to leave it in your F-250 for long periods of time then I do recommend using the cover # DM14844 to help extend the life of the head unit.

We also carry a wide variety of tonneau covers that can provide both security and protection from the elements for the trailer hitch. If you don't already have one and you would like a recommendation from the linked page just let me know!
