Recommended In-Bed 7-Way for a 1988 Ford F-350
Question:
I have a 1988 Ford F350 that is equipped with a factory tow package wiring plug. I am looking to purchase a 7 way pigtail that would plug in to the factory tow package plug and then have the 7way receptacle to mount in the truck bed on the other end. Does such an item exist, and if so part number, cost and availability. Thank you

I am not sure of what the factory tow package plug on your 1988 Ford F-350 looks like so if you send me a photo I may have a different option for you but if it looks like the one in the attached photo then you can use the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness part # A10-7007 which will retain the 7-way you have at your bumper and provide you with one to use in your truck bed with a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer. If you don't have this plug then you can still use the above harness you will just need to cut off the connectors and splice the wires into your trailer light circuits.
