For your 2017 Ram 3500 Cab and Chassis, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2478 is the correct fit. It requires 8 inches of clearance from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire sidewall. These air bags are adjustable between 5 and 100 psi.
If you don't want to adjust by the manual inflation valves, I recommend adding a compressor kit like the Firestone Air Command I - Analog Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function - 130 psi # F2158. This will allow you to monitor and change the air pressure for the best ride at any time from the comfort of your cab. I've attached a video to assist.
