Replacement Motor Recommendation for Landing Gear Motor that Clicks

Question:

Have a WW LE 39. The landing gear had a clicking sound at the motor. Been replacing parts. First a new landing gear box lg-17905. Then replaced leg gears 146059. Same clicking noise. Decided it was screw inside landing gear so replaced entire leg lg 179013. The th can now be lifted somewhat but the click still makes a noise from the motor about every 3rd revolution or so. So, now I suppose the motor is bad? Would that be the next step? What are your suggestions? If a new motor, then which one or two would work with this leg and gear box? Thank you PSall electrical connections are good and batteries new so no issue there.

Basically you've eliminated everything from being the problem aside from the motor so you are on the right track since you mentioned replacing it. For that the Replacement Motor part # LG-142178 that you referenced would be what you'd need. The clicking you are hearing is most likely an electrical clicking like when a car starter goes bad. Which the motor of this is the same type of motor that a starter has as well.
