Adapting a Curt A16 Sliding Hitch to a 2019 Ford F250 without Factory Fifth Wheel Prep Pkg

I understand now how to adapt my Curt A16 sliding hitch to the 2019 Ford F250 if it has the factory OEM fifth wheel prep package. But Im finding that many dealer-stocked vehicles do not have this factory prep package installed. So, will this Reese underbed rail system RP30126 designed for earlier Ford F250s also work on the 2019 F250 6-3/4 ft bed? Also, please confirm the Reese above bed adapter to fit the Reese non-OEM underbed rail package to use for the Curt A16 and other standard fifth wheel hitches. Thanks!

The Reese Elite underbed rail kits are the same as the Ford factory rail kits like you mentioned, but Reese does not offer an underbed rail kit that fits your truck. If you wanted this style of rail in a 2019 Ford F-250 without the factory rail kit you'd have to get the rail kit from a Ford dealer and have them install it.

The Reese Ford Rail kit adapter part # RP30156 does also fit Reese Elite rail kits which means a Curt A16 hitch part # C16521 could be used. If you were to buy a 2019 F-250 though without the factory rail kit you'd have to install an above-bed rail kit like the Reese part # RP50074-58 which is a confirmed fit and would work well.

Reese does not make an aftermarket Elite rail kit for the versions of the 2018 Ford F-350 that do not come with the factory hitch prep package but you can get the rail kit from Ford and have it installed after the fact. Otherwise you could look into…
