Wiring a 5-Way Trailer Connector By Color and Function For Lighting and Electric Brakes
Question:
Wiring a 5 prong cattle cattle trailer. Please give me the color of wires for 1 - running lights. 2 - left turn. 3 - right turn and 4 - brakes. This trailer has white, yellow, green, brown and black wires.

Traditionally you will find the running lights are brown, the left turn and stop is yellow, the right turn and stop is green, the white is ground, and the brake wire is blue. In your case it sounds since everything else is consistent that your electric brake wire is black.
You can test these functions to confirm using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. Then you can use the Draw-Tite # 20017 your connection.
