Recommended Camera System for Truck and Trailer Viewing on Same Monitor
Question:
This part is being installed in the rear mount provided on my camper. The screen will be in my truck. The product makes it seem as though an additional camera can be used in addition to the camper that comes with the product. The additional camera would be a rear back up license plate camera or seeing toe hitch connection. Can you please provide me with any additional information about this additional camera Set up. Thank you

The Wireless Observation System w/ LED Monitor - 7" Screen # 324-000002 is able to utilize multiple cameras but it isn't the isn't the best wireless system. For a multiple camera system, I recommend the Furrion RV Observation Camera System w/ Monitor and Bracket - Wireless - 5" Screen # FOS05TASF. Then for an additional camera with either of these systems you can use the Furrion Vision S Rear Camera w/ Sharkfin Bracket # FCN48TASF.
If you are willing to go to a wired system, then you can get the functions you are seeking with the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras # RVS-770614-213. Then you can use the Rear View Safety License Plate Bracket for Backup Camera # RVS-401.
To use the camera for backup only, you will connect it to your reverse light circuit. For constantly on observation system you will connect to your running light circuit.
