How Do Furrion Marker Light RV Side Cameras Get Wired

Question:

If you want better visibility on the sides of your trailer the best solution is going to be an observation like the Furrion RV Observation Camera System # FOS05TASF with the side the clearance light camera kit part # FCE48TASL. This system allows you to see on either side of the trailer through the monitor when the blinkers are on. expert reply by: Jameson Cside FCE48TASL So the cameras can be connected to the turn signals? Earlier in the answer above the expert mentions that a turn signal circuit is intermittent. is that a problem? Do these side cameras have an internal timer function after they are triggered? how will the display switch to the side camera even if it was successfully triggered by turn signals? ive seen several answers reference the turn signals but need advice on how this would be wired.

The Furrion Vision S side camera kit # FCE48TASL is designed to be wired to your RV's running light circuit. If wired to the turn signal circuit, they would not work properly.

Marker lights, including the ones that come in this kit, do not have a flasher in the circuit, so they would not be able to operate as turn signals or blinkers.

As far as the display, the Vision S monitor included in the # FOS05TASF lets you manually switch camera views, or, you can do a Quad or H-Split screen that displays up to 4 camera angles simultaneously. The fourth being a third brake light camera, like what's included with kit # FR98NR.

I've attached a wiring diagram as well as a link to an installation video we did for the # FCE48TASL .
