Can Diodes for InvisiBrake be Installed on Wiring for Trailer Plug of Towed Vehicle
Question:
Hooking up the diodes do I need to go to the connections at the rear bulbs or can I tie in to the wires coming out of the trailer plug on the towed vehicle thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Although it would be easier to install the diodes like part # RM-792 on the trailer connector, for the InvisiBrake # RM-8700 to work properly the diodes need to be installed at the rear of the bulbs.
The reason for this is that the 4-Way trailer connector recieves the signal "after" the lights so they wouldn't be effective.
