Supplying Camer Propane Burner and Outside Grille with DOT Propane Tank

Hi, I am a propane rookie . I am restoring a tiny vintage trailer and would like to use a small 1 burner gas cooktop inside the camper that I can slide out from underneath my counter when needed that is connected to my propane tank outside. Also, if possible, I would like to use this same tank to fire up a grill outside but be able to disconnect it when not in use. I had thought about converting a sideburner of a Char Broil gas grill to use inside. Is this doable? Thanks for your expertise.

What you are looking to do is very possible. The first thing you need is a Tee like the part # CAM59103 which you'd run between the tank and the regulator like the part # 108220 through a pigtail like # 100473-12. The line that would go to the interior of the trailer would be the # 100040-144-MBS for the burner. Camco Brass Propane Tee and hose #CAM59103 will work for your RV. It is designed to tap into the supply line and provide another output. Using the included hose you could attach to the output and hook up to a propane appliance like a grill.
