How To Hook Up a Coleman Road Trip Grill to a Quick Disconnect Port On Trailer

Question:

with your Connecting Coleman Road Trip Grill to RVs Propane Tank With Quick Disconnect help question, I question what you are doing. You are hooking a low pressure hose because its already behind the RV regulator to the regulator on the coleman grill. You cant run two regulators together as the pressure will be too low. Am I missing something? I would like this to work, but everything Ive read says you must remove any regulator from your grill first then find the correct adapters and quick connects to get you going.

Correct, in order to attach a propane accessory to the quick disconnect port on a trailer that accessory must be unregulated as the quick disconnect ports on trailers are already run through the main propane regulator. If the propane grill has a built-in regulator which most do then you will need to tee into the propane supply before it reaches the regulator with the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting part # 103613-MBS. The MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance part # 100476-72-MBS can then be used to attach your grill to the tee.
