Brake Controller Wiring on a 2000 Dodge Dakota
Question:
I have a 2000 dodge dakota quad cab. I would like to install a Tekonsha P3. There is already a 7-way trailer connector installed. There doesnt seem to be any splices or added wires anywhere where the 7-way is mounted. Everything is all neatly plugged in. I cannot find a blue connector or any other under the dash. What will I need besides the controller to complete an install?

You do not mention whether the 7 way is factory installed. If it is, there should be a plug located behind the parking brake pedal. With the Dodge wiring adapter, part # 3020-P you should be able to easily complete your installation.
Behind the emergency brake pedal, look for a small white box mounted on the firewall. The connector is typically located just above this box.
