Air Lift Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
My truck is a 2017 2500 GMC Denali 4 wheel drive. I am pulling a 36 ft. fifth wheel weighing at loaded approx. 13,500lbs. I have a Pull Rite 16K auto fifth wheel in the bed of my truck. I pull the trailer 10 to 12 times a year. what airlift system do you recommend?

The most popular Air Lift helper spring kit for your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with a 5th wheel hitch is # AL88338. This kit is rated for up to 5,000 pounds which is more than enough for the pin weight of your 13.5K 5th wheel trailer. This kit also features internal jounce bumpers for help improve ride quality, especially when towing. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
I also recommend adding an onboard compressor system, # AL25592, so you can adjust the air springs from the comfort of the truck cab without having to rely on external compressors. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this kit as well.
