RV Brakes Lights Work Until Tail/Running Lights are Turned on
Question:
My RV has right, left and brake signal. Once I turn on the lights for night/bad weather I loose right, left and brake lights. I do have running lights. Thanks

There are a few different reasons why turning your running lights on keeps your brake lights from working.
The first is a bad ground. Check all of the ground connections for your lights and make sure that they are securely connected to a clean, bare-metal surface.
If those look good then you likely have too many lights on your unit. Try disconnecting some lights, one at a time, and see if your brake lights eventually start working while your running light circuit is powered. If you find that you have too many lights then you will need to find a way to keep your trailer properly lit with fewer lights. That may mean disconnecting some or it may mean moving them around.
I have linked a helpful article on troubleshooting lights for you to reference.
