Utility Trailer Hitch for Riding Lawnmower
Question:
I need to add a trailer hitch to my sit-on-top lawn mower so I can shuttle my small utility trailer and my jetski trailer around my yard/garage. It doesnt need to hold a lot of weight. Im trying to avoid buying a trailer dolly. It doesnt have a bumper. Some kind of trailer hitch with a flat plate? That way I could bolt it on to either the front or back of the mower. The back of the mower has a hole for a hitch pin, but there isnt enough room to put a ball in the hole it would but up against the cowl of the mower. Maybe something to extend the hitch pin slot? Could really use some ideas?

As long as the hole on your riding lawnmower is 3/4" you can use the Reese Towpower 3-Way ATV Hitch # RP7065000 which will simply bolt into that hole.
This hitch will give you the length you need to use a hitch ball with a 3/4" diameter shank such as the 1-7/8" ball # C40001 or 2" ball # 19258.
