How to Mount 4-Pole Trailer Connector from Tekonsha T-One 4-Pole Wiring Harness 118677
Question:
After viewing your installation video on your wiring harness #118677 I was extremely disappointed how the excess wire is just wrapped around the trailer hitch. I find this to be totally unacceptable. My previous installation on a 2013 Ford Edge had the controller/excess wire actually inside the vehicle and stored under the rear floor. Is this no longer possible on the 2015 and up Fusion based Edge?

Tekonsha T-One 4-Pole Wiring Harness # 118677 is a confirmed fit on the 2016 Ford Edge, both Sport and Titanium versions. If desired a ring clamp bracket like # 18140 or # 18136 can be installed on the hitch cross tube and used along with 4-pole bracket # 18144 to give you a mounting point for the connector. A zip tie can be used to secure any excess 4-pole wire.
