The trailer is about 300lbs, the bike is 600lbs max. I just want to make sure this is ok for towing.

Yes, the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II part # BX88224 can be used with your Kendon Motorcycle Trailer or any straight pull trailer for that matter as it installs on the ball mount, not the trailer. There are no weight restrictions.
