Can the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II be Used for Towing a Trailer
Question:
Is the Blue Ox designed to stabilize a hitch when towing a TRAILER? I almost bought the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch until I read that it is NOT designed for a trailer, just for stabilizing bike racks. That detail is buried in the information. And even in these QandA, a Roadmaster Quiet Hitch was mentioned in a response asking about towing a trailer, yet no mention that it is not designed for trailer use. So is the Blue Ox for use with a trailer?

Yes, you can use the Blue Ox hitch immobilizer # BX88224 when towing a trailer. We have had similar questions before on this product in regards to its use with weight distribution systems when towing a trailer and Blue Ox has informed us several times that it can be used for this purpose as well.
