2018 tiguan does removing the 4 frame bolts to install hitch have any affect with the steel rear bumper ?

Installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13381 on your 2018 VW Tiguan will not have any impact on the steel rear bumper. The bolts that are removed will be reinstalled and the hitch will reinforce the side frame rails. I've attached the installation video and installation instructions to assist.

Curt does not have any fit exclusions for their hitch part #C13381 for your 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan based on third row seating so it would fit and work well for yours that does have this.
