Can the Erickson E-Track # E19148 be Installed on an Aluminum Open Car Hauler
Question:
Can an e-track tie down system be used safely on my aluminum Aluma 8218 HTILT open car hauler? If so what hardware would you recommend I use to bolt the tracks onto the platform, what bolt size, bolt material, bearing plates, etc.

In all honesty, if you are wanting to install E-Track like part # E19148 on an aluminum trailer that is going to be something that your trailer manufacturer makes the call on. Since they designed the trailer they know what it is capable of.
They would also be the ones to make the call on what equipment to use and where to mount it. You do need to be careful what type of screws you use as steel and aluminum don't mix very well.
