Does Computer Need to be Reset to Install Brake Controller in 2016 Ram Truck
Question:
When in stalling an after market brake control on a 2016 Ram, does the truck’s computer have to be reset as dealer says? Thanks, Previous customer

In order to install an aftermarket brake controller such as the Prodigy P3 # 90195 in your 2016 Ram you would need to have your local Dodge dealer reconfigure the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) IF you were replacing the factory integrated brake controller in your truck.
