Could Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel Adapter Be Used with Short Bed Truck

I am considering the anderson fifth wheel hitch for my 1999 ford superduty short bed towing a 2003 cedar creek bbs . I am just concerned about the turning clearance I will have . I currently tow with a manual sliding hitch but never slide it . Thanks

If you have a slider hitch now that you never activate the slider on then you'd be fine with the Andersen Ultimate part # AM3200. This will give you more turning clearance that a stationary hitch slid forward like you have as it has an offset of 9 inches so based on that it will fit and work well.
