In order to flat tow your Jeep Grand Cherokee behind an RV you need a base plate kit, a tow bar, safety cables, a lighting solution, a supplemental braking system, and likely a high-low adapter.

Starting with the base plates, I recommend the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-521440-5. This kit is custom fit for your Grand Cherokee and features a hidden bracket design that provides a clean look when you aren't towing. Its black powder coat finish is durable and corrosion resistant.

Then for a compatible tow bar that works great with your Jeep Grand Cherokee I highly recommend the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-676. This is an excellent non-binding tow bar that allows for easy release at any time (even on unlevel ground) and features extra-long telescoping arms that provide better maneuverability on the road. Its integrated LED lights illuminate with the RV's tail lights for better visibility at night. Safety cables are also included so they won't need to be purchased separately.

Adding the Roadmaster Tow Bar Cover # RM-055-3 is also a good idea, as this will help keep the unit free of dirt and road grime as your trips start to add up.

For a lighting solution I like the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152. This diode kit lets you use the Jeep's tail lights and wiring system while also preventing any feedback from the RV. It will connect the RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to the Jeep for flat towing.

In order to safely stop your Jeep in correspondence to your RV, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. This is a great proportional system that will activate the Jeep's brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in the RV. The best thing about this particular unit is that after the initial installation it requires very little attention as you transition from flat towing to everyday driving (and vice versa).

If you plan on towing long distances I also recommend adding the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25. This kit allows up to 15 amps from the RV's battery to be used to maintain the charge of the Jeep's battery while it's being towed.

Finally, you will likely need a high-low adapter like the Roadmaster # RM-076 to keep the tow bar within the "Safe Zone" (3 inches below or above level). This particular adapter features a rise or drop of 6 inches. I have attached a great article that explains how to choose the right one for your setup if the drop/rise on this unit is not sufficient, along with a link that will take you to our available selection.

I have attached video demonstrations and installation instructions on the parts mentioned that you can also take a look at.

We don't have complete, all-in-one packages available, but we can certainly piece out everything you need to flat tow your Jeep Grand Cherokee. I've linked a separate answer page below that details these components for your 2013 model.
