UWS ATV Storage Box with Handles - 2.7 cu ft - Bright Aluminum

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this UWS bright aluminum ATV storage box with the handles on both ends. Now, this storage box is designed to mount onto an ATV to help transport and keep cargo on hand when you're in the field. This is a nice, lightweight aluminum construction. Does use fully welded seams, guaranteed not to rust.

And if you notice it has the nice, bright diamond plate pattern to it. The construction of this box is a .058 extra thick one piece aluminum box that'll hold heavy tools and cargo. Right up front here, you can see it has a stainless steel lock and latch right on front, and the lock does include two keys. Right now, it's unlocked. So, if you just pull on the latch, you can see when you do that, it'll automatically open the lid.

And then when you close it, you can turn the key quarter of a turn, and that'll lock it and the latch won't open, so it keeps your valuables protected. And then when you go to open it, just put your key in, turn it back a quarter of a turn, and allows you to open it right up. Now, we mentioned it does have the carrying handles on both sides. It is a nice, foam-filled beveled lid, which provides insulation, protection from the elements. It is a structural foam, so it does reinforce the shape and strength of the lid.

And you can see right along the whole top here, it has a nice foam dust seal that'll help protect the contents from the elements when you close the lid. Does use a nice, heavy-duty gas cylinder right here to help lift the lid and hold it open almost a full 90 degrees. You can see if I turn that, it's pretty much holding it open. And also, what's really nice is on the back here, let me go ahead and close the lid. All around the whole length here, they do use a piano hinge, which runs the full length of the lid.

Give it the, to give it the extra strength. This part is made in the USA. Just tilt it so you can see the inside of the box. Capacity on the inside is 2.7 cubic feet of usable space. I do wanna give you some measurements. We're gonna measure the box itself. So, if we measured the length of the box, one end to the other, gonna be right at 32 inches long. The width on it, front to back is right at 12 inches deep. And the overall height on it, I'm gonna go ahead and close the lid. So, with the lid closed, it's gonna give us an overall height of about 13 1/8 inches tall. Now, the lid itself on the length and the depth of it is gonna add about 7/8 of an inch to those measurements.
