Dimensions and Capacity of Provider ST235/85R16 Load Range G Tires
Question:
Thanks Jason, unfortunately you didn’t answer the question. The question is relating to the tire in the subject line and the 5 photos I attached which is the ST235/85R16 NOT the 80R16 which is the size we already have and what I am considering replacing with the 85R16.

The Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # PRG80235 are rated for 4,080 lbs at 110 psi and speeds up to 81 mph. You will see that we have 16 inch wheels that are rated for up to 4,400 lbs but when combined with this tire, you will be limited by the lesser weight capacity.
I've linked the page to all your combination options with a load range G 235/80-16 Tire. We just have the one tire with a 30.8 inch diameter and a 9.3 inch section width. It is compatible with many wheel rim sizes: 16x6, 16x16.5, and 16x7 inches.
You are correct that trailer age is an issue but this is largely due to the way they are stored. We don't keep tires in our warehouse for long and we have a climate controlled atmosphere where the tires are not stored awkwardly and never have UV rays to break them down prematurely.
