Camper Tie Down Recommendation for 2017 Tacoma Short Bed

I was wonder if these would work on a 5ft tacoma bed? Its a 2017 model and the wheel wells come all the way to the front of the truck bed sides. Its looking like these will come down to long for me to properly attach to the bed. I was also looking at mounted clamp ons but i have rails on my truck that go past were the truck bed meets the cab. My only option is looking like removing the rails are getting the mounted ones. Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks like the only option we have for your 2017 Toyota Tacoma would be for you to remove your step boards and go with the front Torklift tie down part # TLT2303 and then for the rear # TLT3307.

I reached out to Torklift and they have never had a fit for a Toyota Tacoma because their hitches are for capacities greater than that size truck can handle. This means that the camper tie downs compatible with their hitch will not work for you due…

Yes, the Brophy camper tie downs like the #HSAB can be used with bed rail covers. If you check out the picture I attached you can see a set installed on a bed rail with plastic covers.
