Is There a Reese Weight Distribution System That is Compatible with Surge Brakes on a Boat Trailer

There are weight distribution systems available that are compatible with trailers that have surge brakes. When selecting a weight distribution system, you want one that will want to match the Gross Tongue Weight (GTW) of the trailer to the tongue weight capacity of the weight distribution system you choose. The tongue weight of the trailer should be weighed when it is fully loaded and ready to tow.
If your trailer tongue weight is up to 1,200 lbs or with the boat fully loaded and ready to tow, I would recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution w Sway Control, part # RP66560, which is compatible with trailers that have surge brakes.
For a boat trailer it is very likely that you will also need a pole tongue adapter, part # RP58393, for attachment of the weight distribution system to the straight pole tongue of the boat trailer.
In addition to the weight distribution system and pole tongue adapter, you will need a properly sized hitch ball, like part # 63836, to complete the system.
I have linked an FAQ on weight distribution systems.
