Measuring to Determine if Bike Rack Will Clear Spare Tire on Jeep Wrangler
Question:
Will this rack clear my spare tire on Jeep Wrangler and it says on the specs that this rack is good for motor homes. Is this correct? Thank you

The Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack # TH934XTR is approved for use with a motorhome, and to determine if it will clear the spare tire on your Jeep Wrangler there are a couple measurements.
Just take something with a straight edge like a yardstick and hold it against the back of your Jeep's spare tire and then use a tape measure to find the distance from the center of your hitch pin hole to the straight edge (like in the accompanying photo), and that's the amount of clearance you will need.
The Thule # TH934XTR measures 12-3/8" from the from center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of carrier so your measurement will need to be less than that for it to clear your Jeep's spare tire.
