Suspension Enhancement for a 2009 Ford F-150 with a 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installed

2009 supercrew 6.5bed any install issues when using firestone airbags? rv dealer recommended bags.5th wheel maxwt 12k . this is my first 5th wheel and have never towed one.i think i can install myself

Actually, there are currently no Firestone Air-Ride products for a 2009 Ford F-150. We do have other options that will not interfere with the 5th wheel trailer hitch. You can use SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway-Control Kit, # SSA8MTKT.
Another option is to use a Timbren system, # TFR1502D, for a 2 wheel drive, or # TFR1504D, for 4 wheel drive. These springs install on the inboard side of the frame rails so they will not interfere with the hitch.
Either the SuperSprings or Timbren springs would be good for towing a 5th wheel trailer. Air-Ride springs are good if you carrying varying sized loads and need to level the bed side to side. But for a load that stays pretty much the same all of the time like a 5th wheel, SuperSprings or Timbren springs will be perfect.
If you need a 5th wheel installation kit, I recommend the custom installation kit # RP50081-58. The custom kit cuts the install time in half compared to a universal kit because there is less drilling and the brackets are designed to fit your vehicle.
