At What Age Should Trailer Tires be Replaced

Question:

I have a 2011 Colman Sunvalley popup camper I purchased new. The original tires are still on the camper and has good tread. They look ok but I am concerned about their age . How often should one replace camper tires? The camper has always been stored in my garage except when in use.

Trailer tires should be replaced about every 6 or 7 years, even if the tread is still in good shape. As tires age, they can crack and dry rot. Continuing to use the existing tires would be dangerous.

Let me know what size you have now and I can give you our best option. If you need a 175/80R13 then the part # AM10210 would be a great option.
