I have a 24 Fort car hauler and I lost the nuts for my brake backing plate What thread and size not do I need

The correct size nuts for the brake mounting flange bolts you have on your trailer is going to depend on which bolts you have. There is not really a standard thread pitch for braking assemblies so it will be best to replace the nuts and bolts with part # BRKH10A which contain 7/16"-20 x 1-1/4" bolts/nuts and lock washers.

There is also a tool that you can find at most local hardware stores that will tell you the diameter and thread pitch of your bolt.
