Replacement Rotors and Calipers for Oil Bath Hub
Question:
I have oil bath hubs with disc brakes. Is this the kit I need to replace the rotors and calipers the easiest way?

Helpful Expert Reply:
As long as your hubs are in good condition, a slip-over kit like the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35DS that you referenced will work well and be easiest to replace the rotors and calipers.
You will want to ensure that the kit matches your hubs. The # K2R35DS kit has a 10 inch rotor with 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern and is designed for 3,500 pound axles. I've attached the product page for all of our disc brake kits with rotors for you. If the # K2R35DS does not work for your hub, you can use the product filters on the linked page to select the correct kit.
You can also let me know your axle's capacity, the hub's wheel bolt pattern, and your trailer's wheel size and I will be happy to make a more specific recommendation for you.
