Replacement Damper Lock Springs for Ventline Range Hood

hinge lock pins broke off and would like to replace them. do you have the part? the damper and hood are fine just want to secure the damper again

It sounds like you are needing the Replacement Damper Lock Springs # C0488-00. These lock springs are designed for Ventline P, B, and T Series Ventline Range Hoods and allows the damper to be locked in the closed position.

This will include 1 damper lock spring.

I have a ventline model PR 100 cfm range hood in my mobile home. I replaced the clogged up filter, and cleaned everything up and reinstalled exactly the way it came off. Now there is a strong draft of outside cold air. Incant find a dampner of anykind, any help?

Because your Ventline PR series hood has the vertical exhaust, you will need the Replacement Damper for Ventline RV Range Hoods with Vertical Exhaust # VA0478-02. That foam will make all the difference. I've attached an expert answer that shows the exploded diagram to assist. If you have already replaced this damper in the correct location, then you will want to check the outside vent to see if there is a damper missing on the exhaust vent side. Some vents have a separate damper flap that can be locked open for use or closed for travel.
