Is Advent AC Compatible With Carrier AC Fan?
Question:
The three speed fan on the advent AC and my carrier unit only has a two speed fan. Is the remote for the carrier going to be able to work correctly? I have a 26rs outback travel trailer that becomes 30 ft long with the slide out. Thanks

According to Advent, in order to replace your Carrier with the Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 and use three-speed fan you will also need the Ceiling Vent Assembly with Wall Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACRG15 and to replace your Carrier thermostat with the one in this kit.
If you only wanted to replace the AC unit with the Advent # ACM150, you would simply need Carrier Adapter Kit # ACCARKIT, so long as your Carrier thermostat and relay box are functional.
