Question:

Hello. I have 4 tires that are Carlisle Sure Trail 7.00-15LT Load Range D Tubeless Replaces 8 P.R. Tread 4 plies Nylon Cord Sidewall 4 plies nylon cord Max load single 2040 lbs @ 60psi cold and max load dual 1800lbs @ 60psi cold. What would the newer conversion size be and what tire would you recommend. These tires are on a 1975 Vega Camper that you pull behind a vehicle and weighs 5080lbs. Thanks

It is always a good idea to use trailer tires, which have the "ST" designation on a trailer, as opposed to your "LT" tires. Your 7.00-15LT tires have a section width of 7.8" and outer diameter of 29.4" and fit on 15" x 5", 15" x 5-1/2", 15" x 6" wheels.

While there is not an exact duplicate size of your LT tires, there is something similar, a ST205/75R15 tire, which has an outer diameter of 27.1" and 8.1" section width. For a tire of this size I recommend checking out the Kenda # AM10245, which has a maximum load of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi
