Jack Capacity for Boat Trailer With 6,300 lb Boat

My boat weighs 6300#. What jack lift weight do I need to lift the tounge? For an electric jack? my old jack pipe diameter is 2.

To choose the right jack capacity for your boat trailer with a 6,300 lb boat on it, you need a jack with a capacity that will surpass your trailer's loaded tongue weight; which is typically between 10 and 15 percent of the loaded trailer's weight.

Additionally, I assume you meant your jack's INNER tube diameter was 2 inches, because the standard outer tube diameter for A-frame jacks is 2-1/4 inches; you would need to have the hole enlarged to that in order to use the jack I recommend for you, which is Electric Jack # EJ-3520-BBX which has a 3,500 lb lift capacity and total lift of 25-1/8".
