Troubleshooting Dim Lights on Trailer
Question:
My left trailer led light is only dim when headlights are on the tow vehicle. Have tested tow vehicle with another trailer and it is not an issue with that trailer. Have redone the ground from the light and grounded it to the ground that is working on the right side. Still same issue the led light is barely visible. Stop and turn signal are bright just dim when headlights are on. The right side is perfect. Also ran the ground from the light to the front of the trailer to that ground and still same result. Please help. thanks.

If you are certain the grounds on your trailer are fine, there are some other areas you can check out to fix the dim lights on your boat trailer. Normally, LED lights will not dim so I recommend you start at your connector to ensure all the connections are secure. You will then want to trace the wiring from the dim lights to ensure it is not crimped or somehow damaged. I've added a link to a help article on troubleshooting trailer wiring which you should also find useful.
