Coiled 7-Way to 4-Way Recommendation for Towed Vehicle

Again thank you very much, the 5 ft. blue coiled adapter will be perfect. I had spent hours looking for the exact item at all the online RV sites. Sometimes it is difficult wording a search the right way to find what I am looking for. I wish that I had known about the experts helpinch before. I had given up looking, and was just going to run a short 4 wire cable from the RV to the tow car, it would of looked kind of Mickey Mouse. I have just become a RV person about 2 months ago. I have purchased several items from etrailer, and came back because I was very happy with the rear hitch for my wifes KIA that I purchased a year ago. Okay, one last question. Now that this connection between the RV and tow car has changed to the blue coiled. I need a metal mounting bracket to attach to the tow car adaptor plateinch that I can plug the 4 pin connector into the back of it, then plug the 4 pin c57271 blue coiled adaptor to the front of the bracket. It would look a lot like the HM40975, but being a 4 pin connector. Or would it be better if the mounting bracket was 4 pin on the back and a 7 pin female on the front??? That way I can just order a blue coiled cable with the 7 pin female on one end and the other end being a 7 pin male.

Yes, we have the Wesbar # 787196 which is an 8 foot long 7-way to 5-way. I know you need a 4-way but this will work well as the fifth circuit would just not be used.

Thank you very much for your fast reply. My RV 2016 Fleetwood Storm has the 7 pin male at the hitch, and my 4 pin is the Roadmaster Tail light Wiring kit. The coiled is only 3 feet, and I did see the other at 4 feet. The Kia Sportage is my tow car, and I have the Ready Brute Elite, so the tow bar is a little longer being the Elite (with the braking system built in). The wiring is setup to go down the arm of the tow bar to the Kia. Being new to the RV world, I would think a 6 foot would work. Or what length would you suggest? Thanks for your help

The # 787196 I mentioned will work well for you. The coils can easily wrap around the arms of the tow bar to keep them off the ground.

Sounds like you are looking for a way to easily mount the 4-way to the front of your vehicle. We have the part # HM48595 which you could attach to the lower portion of your bumper to hold the 4-way in place when it's connected to the adapter or when not. I attached a picture that shows how it installs as well.
