Suggested Weight Distribution for Use with 48 inch Torklift Supertruss Hitch Extender
Question:
Since the Torklift SuperHitch Everest Weight Distribution System is not compatible with the Torklift SuperTruss, Why could I not not use a different shank that would be rated for pulling a 7K lb max car trailer loaded with a Harley Davidson Road King and either a 2009 Toyota Rav4 or 2012 Honda Fit and cover up to the 12K rating for the SuperTruss with weight distribution system. If a 2nd shank is not possible for whatever reason, what is the suggested weight distribution system?

The 48 inch long Torklift SuperTruss part # TLE1548 is rated for weight distribution. But since it has a single 2 inch hitch opening at the end of it you'd have to go with a weight distribution designed for a standard 2 inch hitch unlike the Superhitch Everest you mentioned. For example, the Reese Trunnion System part # RP66542 would work well. This system is rated for 600 to 1,200 lbs.
For a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball to use with it you could use the # 19286.
