Will a Shorter Handle Fit Fulton XLT Winch # F142418
Question:
The 10inch handle on the Fulton XLT trailer winch F142418 it a couple of inches too long as I hit my knuckles on the bow of the boat. Is there an 7-8.5inch handle that would work? I see there is a 9inch version but I really need a couple of inches shorter. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The 9 inch handle, # F501109, is the shortest we have for Fulton XLT winch # F142418. One thing to be aware of when using a shorter handle is that the winch will be harder to crank. If you were to go smaller than 9 inches it would get even harder. Is it at all possible to move the winch further from the boat? Because if so that combined with the slightly shorter handle could work out well.
