Best Bike Rack for Ease of Use for 2017 Honda Fit
Question:
Hi, I am shopping for a solution to haul my bicycle on my 2017 Honda Fit EX. I dont know anything about hitch nor bike rack, would you please kindly make product recommendation for all I need to purchase? I dont intend to haul my bike a lot maybe once very two weeks other time Id like the rack not to be on so, I can easily access the trunk. I am a single female, so it would be key for me that I can remove the rack easily. I dont know if I should go with a rack or a platform style pro/con etc. Please kindly advice.

The easiest to load and unload bike racks are platform racks by far. Typically this style of rack is a bit heavier but there is a great solution that is lighter in weight with the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F which weighs 35 lbs. That makes it very easy to install and remove as well. I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.
You will need a hitch installed on the rear of your vehicle as well. The best option is then the Draw Tite # 24920 as it does not require a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack.
Trunk racks are great but they are a bit involved to take off and on and since they contact painted surfaces of the vehicle I don't like to recommend them as there is the possibility for scratches.
