Is Underbody Panel Re-Installed When Installing Curt Trailer Hitch on 2018 Toyota Highlander?
Question:
Is the bracket that is removed from the passenger side used to hold the underside panel reinstalled with the hitch or not? In the video, he talked about it being reinstalled when he is taking it off. But when he is reinstalling the panel he mentions that the bracket is left off so the panel isn’t attached at that point when put back on. Can you clear this up please.

Yes, the underbody panel is re-installed when you are installing Curt hitch # C13200 on your 2018 Toyota Highlander. I have attached a cutout of the installation instructions for this hitch to show you where it specifies underbody panel is re-installed.
