Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.The fit was perfect and I was able to install it in my driveway by myself without the use of a jack or auto/wheel ramps. I am sure it looked hysterical - but it worked like a charm. I did see another unit on sale well below your offering - but I had already ordered it. I only cringed a little because I was happy with your quality and the install went smoothly because I watched the installation videos that you posted on you tube. If your interested on how I did it all by myself next time you are in Temecula, stop by and I will spill the beans over a cold beer.

The trailer hitch was delivered undamaged. I had a Curt Trailer on my previous car so I know it is well built and will fit on my Acura MDX. The OEM trailer hitch sits 3 inches higher so it requires a new lower rear bumper panel. The Curt design has the hitch below the rear bumper so all I have to do is bolt it on. No other mods required.
Very fast shipping. Hitch has good finish and fits well. Hands free rear hatch still works after installation.
Only problem so far is the spare tire no longer easily fits and is at a bit of an angle. Slightly deflating it would probably solve the problem.
Perfect fit for my 2024 Honda Pilot Touring and is easy to install, shipping was fast.
Works perfect for bike hitch which is what I wanted it for. The auto tail lift gate feature where you swipe your foot under the bumper seems to still work although I don’t really use this much. I mention this as other reviews said it wouldn’t.

Hitch came on time and went on in about 30 minutes on my 2023 Honda Pilot. Didn’t even need to drop the spare tire.
Took me 1 1/2 hrs to install. Used bucket and a board. Needed a step ladder to help me up after install. I’m 87 years old. Suggest ladder for older installers I have a real sense of accomplishment

Hi. The trailer hitch is great, except for one problem. I night this for my 2022 Acura MDX, and it would not fit without removing the sensor that is mounted inside the rear bumper. This is the sensor that opens the rear hatch when your foot is under the bumper. Even after removing, the hitch was pressing right against the bumper.
Installation on my 2022 MDX was a breeze. No cutting or drilling holes required. Just lower the spare tire, position rack in place and secure with the 6x included bolts. Having someone hold the hitch while I secure it with my impact gun made quick work of the install. Be sure to torque to proper specs afterwards.
I compared this Curt hitch to the OEM Acura hitch and went with Curt because it was cheaper and doesn't require me to get a new hitch trim for the lower bumper. OEM one is good if you decide to install the towing harness but since I'm just using this to attach bike racks, don't have a need for that. The curt hitch sits below the factory bumper so the towing point is about 3 inches lower than factory hitch location.
A bit of challenging to mount, holes are not lined up. Had to force it a bit to match the holes. No pin included.
Fit was perfect and install took less than 1 hour. You do need 2 people to hold it up. It does interfere with the Hands Free Assist for the rear hatch on a 23 Pilot. Only negative was that UPS just about destroyed the box during shipping, which scuffed it up just a bit.

First hitch did not fit due to being a brand new model. Their customer service was very prompt to solve the problem. Ordered a different one that fit perfectly. They sent paperwork to return the first one no questions asked. Great customer service.
