Folding Mobility Scooter Carrier Recommendation with Ramp
Question:
We need a lightweight mobility scooter carrier for use on a 2008 Ford Expedition. My husbands scooter weights 93 pounds and is 42 x 20. We would also like for the carrier to fold against the vehicle when not in use.

We have folding cargo carriers with ramps which work great for transporting mobility scooters, but we do not have any that are "lightweight" as the have to be reinforced for strength as well as the ramps add quite a bit of weight. Most of them are made of steel and heavy. However, I do have a solution for you.
We have the Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier # FHG77ZR which would work well. It has a capacity of 500 lbs, has a built 48" in ramp, is folding and has inside dimensions of 48" long x 28" wide x 5" deep. It is a little lighter than the others and weighs 80 pounds. It isn't light but significantly more manageable than the typical 100 pounds.
